PSYCHOTHERAPY WITH SOUL

With years of experience as a healthcare executive and leader in quality, safety, and behavioral health integration, I view therapy as a deeply collaborative, curiosity-driven partnership. My practice weaves together cognitive-behavioral and narrative psychologies with Afro-Caribbean/Yoruba healing traditions, supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, mixed-race folks, and those navigating chronic pain or healing from family violence. Rooted in my history of community organizing, I ask thoughtful questions rather than hand out advice, helping you connect mind, spirit, and support systems to reignite hope and realize your values.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Want to talk one-on-one? I provide confidential individual therapy for teens, young and all-ages adults. You set the pace, and set the course. I can help you negotiate more helpful narratives about life, yourself, and the challenges you're facing using cognitive-behavioral strategies and a collaborative, strengths-based approach called narrative therapy.

I specialize in helping parents.

COUPLES AND RELATIONSHIP THERAPY

What kind of relationship are you building? What would you like it to be? We will explore the problems and possibilities in a way that honors you as individuals and  as a unit. With narrative therapy, we're not afraid to face what ails the relationship, but we're not looking to place blame, either. What does the future hold for you? Let's find out.

All relationship types welcome.

FAMILY THERAPY

Who are you as a family? Who would you like to be? What do you want to instill in your children as they grow up and create lives of their own? We can explore new ways of being--as individuals and as a family. Along with our family work, I can also work one-on-one with your child who is acting out, having a hard time, or needs some extra support.

With intensive child and family experience, I am well-prepared for the challenges children and families face, including addictions, learning disorders, behavioral and attention troubles, experiences of trauma, unsettling changes, difficulty communicating, fighting and arguing, and most other problems. Your family is not the problem; the problem is the problem!

All types and structures of families welcome.
